Pil­lahtease (noun) \pil-ah-teez\ — The act of con­tort­ing one’s body to attempt to reach a pill that has rolled under a fur­ni­ture and is just out of reach.

Exam­ple:  Yolanda strained her back while doing pil­lahtease as she threw her legs over her head for lever­age to push her arms under the chim­ney cup­board to reach her last Clar­itin D.

  1. Stan was bit­ten while doing phi­latease as he wres­tled his Great Dane for his last Per­co­cet that had rolled under the kitchen table. Thank god the phi­latease was suc­cess­ful as he needed the painkiller for the ensu­ing stitches.
